Drop Style Sugar Cookies

These soft and chewy drop style Christmas sugar cookies are literally the most fantastic sugar cookies you will ever have – and make!

These kits contain everything you need to bake twelve amazing giant, chewy, soft cookies – you just need to add 1 stick (1/2 cup), unsalted butter, and 1 large egg.

Once you’ve portioned up your Cookie Dough, it can sit in the freezer until you need them. Want to bake one at a time? No problem! You’re never more than 20 minutes from a delicious, warm, freshly baked cookie.

  • In a large bowl, whisk the butter for 2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy. Add the granulated white sugar and whisk until combined and creamy-looking.
  • Whisk in the egg and beating until light ribbons fall off the whisk and remain for a short while before falling back into the mixture.
  • Sift in the flour mixture and spices then fold the mixture with a spatula (Be careful not to over mix, which would cause the gluten in the flour to toughen resulting in harder cookies). chill the dough for at least 30 minutes and up to 2 days.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange chilled cookie dough balls 3 inches apart on the baking sheets.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to barely brown.
  • Cool completely and serve with a cup of cold milk. Enjoy!
